Mathematical Cell Biology

Description

The course will be taught at UBC (Math 563) as an online course, with web-based material, archived and live lectures and interactive discussion sessions.

The relevant biological topics and mathematical background needed to understand current research in mathematical cell biology will be taught as part of this intensive course. Some background in (undergraduate) differential equations (ODEs, PDEs) will be assumed.

Interested students can take this course for credit at UBC (or at the affiliated western universities under the Western Dean's agreement).
